The Colorado Symphony holds a free concert in the park each summer. On summer weekends scores of volleyball nets pop up for leagues and pickup games.
If you are looking for a venue to rent for a special occasion, consider the newly renovated Washington Park Boathouse Pavilion located near East Exposition Avenue and South Humboldt Street. The venue can hold up to 150 people. The Boathouse was built after the “City Beautiful” campaign that took place in the early 20th century and it was built in 1913.
